First gig of the year in Malta, on New Year's Day just after midnight. What can I say about Malta... sweet people, very nice wine and sunny days in the middle of winter! The Megalithics are pretty special too. |

Detroit massiv in effect, fuelled by guiness and whisky. In America, nobody wants to dance at "electronic" gigs, what a let down! This lot were standing still and chin-stroking with the best of them. Still, at least they did a brief hands in the air when I got my camera out. |

Orlando, Florida. This one was a bit underpopulated, alas. They also stood rigid throughout! You wouldn't know it from the photo, but I have a live recording of this gig and the crowd noise is repectably enthusiastic! |

Helsinki, playing alongside Aleksi, aka Astrobotnia / Ovuca. The local poison is lethal. It was presented to me as "liquorice vodka" but it just looks like diesel and tastes like it as well. That didn't stop me getting hammered on it. In Helsinki airport you can buy tinned reindeer and bear meat! I'm not a vegetablearian but even so I gave it a miss. |

Dublin: My adoring public put their fingers in the air! I took the hint and fucked off back to London the next day. |

Zagreb, Croatia. I never thought I'd make it there to play. I didn't know what to expect but I got a fantastic reception. Note the super-fan holding up one of my record sleeves. I was offered the local version of absinthe but only managed a sip. |

County Leitrim, Ireland. The gig was in a cow-shed in the middle of the country. The DJ booth was behind chicken wire so now I know how they feel. |

Oostende, Belgium. Two fingers in the air this time! |

London, UK. I played with the rephlex crew and we only had 2 1/2 hours between four of us. So I did an ultra-rave set and crammed as much as I could into 40 minutes. It seemed to work as the crowd were cheering in all the right places. We played after Egyptian Lover, in case you don't know he is an electro legend from the mid-eighties. "What is a DJ if he can't scratch..." I guess he wouldn't appreciate my laptop biz. |

I get emails all the time from people asking when I'll be visiting their part of the world. Well, I'm always up for playing anywhere but I have to be booked first. I can be contacted with offers directly. |
